Bobbin, Rite - Ceramic Shorty

Slightly shorter (4") than the standard Rite bobbin. For the tier who does mostly size 18 and smaller flies, or ties with a pedestal vise. All the Rite Bobbins feature a tension adjuster that pressures the spool to match the breaking strength of the thread being used. No need to bend wires to obtain correct tension on the bobbin (spool). Has ceramic tube. Each All Rite Bobbins also have four teflon washers included. It is not essential to use those washers unless the bobbin (spool) is out of round, or the spool ends are not smooth. It is recommended in that situation that one washer be placed on each side of the spool. Item# 2317
